The Angel Falls, with a height of nearly 1 km, are
located in the Gran Sabana in the South East, within the Canaima National
Park.
The "Salto del Angel" is the world's highest waterfall, three times
the size of the Eiffel Tower, and were discovered by accident in 1930
when gold prospector Jimmy Angel crashed his plane.
The landscapes in the Canaima National Park inspired Arthur Conan
Doyle's "Lost World".
Below is a 3 night trip into the Canaima National Park to see the
Angels Falls. Please note that this trip is only available during the wet season, May to October, when the falls are at their most impressive. You can also fly over the falls for a bird's eye view.
