This exciting first-class 19th century-style riverboat cruise is an adventure of a
lifetime!
Explorer's small size and shallow draft make her ideal for river travel. The Amazon is home to a vast,
unforgettable array of unique sights, sounds and cultures. Daily excursions allow
you the opportunity to see diverse wildlife such as sloths, toucans, pink
dolphins and varied bird life. You will also meet the local people, giving you a rare glimpse of
how life "on the river" is lived.
Much of the Amazon is still unexplored to this day. Guided by our indigenous pilot guide,
with our fleet of sturdy zodiacs and in the company of our expert crew, you will travel
up remote and little travelled tributaries in search of the area's profuse wildlife and many indigenous
inhabitants.
