Tour: Introducing Mexico
This 12 day tour is a perfect introduction to Mexico's charms at an easy pace. It balances time on a wonderful Caribbean beach
with visits to the Yucatan's most important Mayan archaeological sites and stays at traditional
haciendas that offer history, culture and comfort.
Mexico's Riviera Maya has wonderful beaches and excellent accommodation, you just have to choose where
to stay along its wide coast line. For this itinerary we suggest the Maroma Resort and Spa, a tropical paradise
located in a breathtaking corner of the Yucatan jungle. Great for some rest and relaxation, though there is plenty
to do along the coast.
No trip to Mexico would be complete without visiting the famous Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza and Uxmal, with their
striking series of pyramids and stone figures. We also includee two nights at the Hacienda San Jose and
two at the Hacienda Santa Rosa. The Hacienda San Jose has 11 rooms and suites in restored buildings set in the
jungle, 68 km from Merida and 25 minutes drive from the beaches at Telchac; the Santa Rosa dates from the 17th
century and offers superb facilites and exclusive comfort.

| Days 1-4: | On day one arrive in Cancun (your return flight from the UK is included). Transfer to the Riviera Maya for 4 nights at the luxury beach Hotel La Maroma. |
| Days 5-6: | Tour of Chichen Itza and transfer to the Hacienda San Jose for 2 nights stay. |
| Days 7-8: | Transfer to the Hacienda Santa Rosa, with a tour of Uxmal. |
| Days 9-11: | Return to the Riviera Maya, 3 nights accommodation at La Maroma. |
| Day 12: | Depature transfer to Cancun for your flight to the UK. |
