Tour: Chilean Lakes and Desert
This itinerary combines some of the little-known gems that make Chile such a brilliant country to visit. The San
Rafael glacier is particularly special and there is no better way to explore the Lake District than from the
Quincho Country Home. This journey also ecompasses a few days in the Atacama Desert.
The Southern Lake District is one of the most beautiful areas in Chile. Vicente Perez Rosales National Park
includes such attractions as three major volcanoes, scenic lakes and waterfalls.
We suggest a stay at the luxury hotel Termas de Puyuhuapi.
Understated luxury in a delightful setting, the hotel offers a good range of excursions. Facilities include
three thermal pools and superb spa facilities. Travel from Puyuhuapi by catamaran to the spectacular San Rafael
glacier.
Our itinerary also includes the Quincho Country Home, set in four hectares of lawns and woodland within the Chilean
Lake District, it has
impressive views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes and Lake Llanquihue. All excursions are included; walking and treking,
