Tour: Central American Discovery
This two week tour starts with three nights in the old capital of Guatemala, Antigua. This is a fascinating
place to explore and a guided walking tour of the colonial city is included. Also visit the nearby Pacaya volcano.
Then transfer to Lake Atitlan for stunning scenery in the central highlands and where the local Maya wear colourful
traditional clothes. An excursion on the lake is included before returning to Antigua and travelling down into
Copan in Honduras to view one of Central America's major Mayan sites.
The itinerary ends with four nights at the lovely Pico Bonito Lodge, a truly fantastic rainforest hideaway in the Pico Bonito National Park.
Included here are breakfast and excursions into the rainforest with bi-lingual naturalist guide.

| Days 1-3: | On day one arrive in Guatemala City (your return flight from the UK is included). From here transfer to the old capital of Antigua for three nights at the Casa Encantada. A city tour is included and visit to Pacaya volcano. |
| Days 4-6: | Travel to Lake Atitlan, accommodation at the Casa Palopo, a beautiful 7 bedroom villa overlooking the lake and three volcanoes. |
| Day 7: | Return to Antigua to the Casa Encantada. |
| Days 8-9: | Transfer to Copán in Honduras, tour of the ruins included. 2 nights at the Hacienda San Lucas. |
| Days 10-13: | Travel to Pico Bonito National Park in Honduras, with 4 nights at the superb jungle hideaway Pico Bonito Lodge. |
| Day 14: | Transfer to Tegucigalpa (Honduras) to connect with your transatlantic flight home. |
