Tour: Crossing the Andes

This popular itinerary combines Argentina and Chile in a spectacular journey over the Andes. The stunning journey from Barilioche in Argentina to Puerto Montt in Chile is an unforgettable experience, involving a series of buses and boats through snowcapped mountains and across glacial lakes. Stay at the Hotel Natura, located in the heart of the Andes, surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes and rivers, this hotel is our preferred place.

Your tour starts in Buenos Aires where you will be taken on a city tour and to a tango show before you fly to Bariloche for three days in the Argentine Lake District. From here you will spend a couple of days travelling over the Andes to Puerto Varas before flying up to Santiago. During your stay in the Chilean capital you will visit one of the vineyards.

Itinerary
Day 1: On day one arrive in Buenos Aires, (your return flight from the UK is included). Transfer to the Sofitel Hotel.
Day 2: City tour of Buenos Aires in the morning. Dinner at the Carlos Gardel Tango show, (VIP service).
Day 3: Free day in Buenos Aires
Day 4: Fly to Bariloche. Accommodation at the hotel Aldebaran.
Days 5-6: Free days in Bariloche.
Day 7: Lakes Crossing over the Andes to Peulla, accommodation at hotel Natura.
Day 8: Continue over the Andes to reach Puerto Varas, transfer to hotel Cabanas del Lago.
Day 9: Excursions in the Chilean Lake District.
Day 10: Fly to Santiago, accommodation at the hotel Hyatt.
Day 11: City tour of Santiago and wine tasting excursion.
Day 12: Transfer to airport in time for your flight home to the UK.
