Havana

Short Break to Cuba

Now is without doubt the time to visit Cuba. After nearly 50 years in power Fidel Castro has stepped down and nobody knows how this unique country will change. Even in 8 days you can experience Havana and enjoy some relaxation on a fantastic Caribbean beach.

Old Havana and its fortifications are protected by UNESCO, so as you stroll through picturesque streets you'll feel yourself immersed in a living museum, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, with the sound of salsa music never far away. You can head to the northern shore and amble along the popular "Malecon", a stretch of coastline where locals and visitors alike gather to stroll and gaze out to sea.
We suggest a stay at the Beltran de Santa Cruz, an intimate hotel in an elegant, 18th century nobleman's house, tucked away on a quiet but central side street close to the Plaza Vieja.

After three days in the capital, transfer just over 2 hours away to the beach resort at Varadero, where you an enjoy a stunning Caribbean beach, water sports and an all inclusive package.
