The Palermo district, Buenos Aires

Short Break to Argentina

Buenos Aires is known as the Paris of South America and rightly so. It has a distinctly European feel, in its architecture, upmarked restaurants and bars, chic shops, museums and fine boulevards. However, at the same time you cannot escape its Latin American edge, either at a sultry Tango show over a bottle of Argentinian red, or in a "parilla", a traditional restaurant specialising in grilled meat, famous throughout the world. Spend four nights in Buenos Aires, with a city tour and dinner and Tango show included.

Having enjoyed the city move on to the Iguazu National Park for a more natural setting. You've time to see one of the most impressive natural wonders of South America, the Iguazu Falls. Fly from Buenos Aires and spend three nights at the Sheraton Iguazu, located within the jungle of the National Park overlooking the falls. Here you're likely to see a huge variety of birds, including toucans, parrots and cacique birds. Included is a full day tour to the Brazilian side of the falls and the Devil's Throat.
