This trail starts in Cuzco and ends in the magnificent ruins of Machu Picchu - it's a great way to arrive over 4 days, in the actual footsteps of the Incas.

Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - 4 days / 3 nights

Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO / LLULLUCHAPAMPA : Transfer from Cuzco hotel to km88 where we will start the trek. Arrive at Llulluchapampa, camping overnight.
DAY 2: LLULLUCHAPAMPA / SAYACMARCA : Walk to Warmihuanusca Pass (4,050 metres). Then on to Runkurakay Ruins. Lunch. Sayacmarca Ruins (3,600 m) for our second camp.
DAY 3: SAYACMARCA / WINAY WAYNA: From here the stone road takes us into the jungle. We will continue our trek towards the Phuyupatamarca Ruins. The path goes down to the Winay Wayna Ruins, the most important after Machu Picchu.
DAY 4: WINAY WAYNA / MACHU PICCHU / CUZCO: Very early departure to cross Intipunku, the last pass. We arrive to Machu Picchu and explore the ruins. Return to Cuzco in the afternoon.
