Travel Advice: Know Before You Go

Documentation
British Citizens do not require visas for Paraguay but should check that they have a full, valid 10 year passport with at least 6 months to run. Nationals of other countries should check with the Paraguayan Consulate on:  020 7937 6629.

Inoculations
There are no compulsory requirements although vaccination against Typhoid, Tetanus, Hepatitis, Yellow Fever and Polio are all strongly recommended as well as anti-malaria tablets for tropical areas. If you are travelling on to Brazil after visiting Paraguay, a Yellow fever certificate may be required. Climate and when to go
The weather is sub-tropical. Good times to visit would generally be from March to June and September to December; July and August are the winter months in Paraguay and can be cold at night.
