The Best of Panama

This eight night itinerary shows you some of the highlights of Panama, combining beach time, cloud forest treks and the city. It takes you to the islands of Bocas del Toro, situated on the north-western Caribbean coast. An isolated region only recently being discovered by travellers, much of the archipelago remains in pristine condition with unspoiled coral reefs, abundent wildlife and sandy beaches and there's a good chance of spotting turtles in the Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park.

Boquete Cloud Forest in the western highlands of Panama offers some of the most picturesque walking trails in Central America. The cool, humid cloud forests of this region are home to a variety of birds, including Quetzals, Bellbirds, Solitaires and Redstarts and the countryside is dotted with flower, strawberry and coffee plantations.

The trip ends in Panama City, with a city tour and a visit to the Panama Canal.
