We recommend a visit to Lake Nicaragua, Central America's largest body of fresh water which contains Las Isletas Archipelago and Isla Ometepe, with its charming villages, two volcanoes, cloud forests and tropical beaches - a highlight of any visit to Nicaragua.

Round off your trip with a spot of shopping at Masaya's folkloric market, famous for its hammocks, hand-made wood and leather goods, or a few days relaxing on a beach at Morgan's Rock's, San Juan del Sur or the Corn Islands.
