Central American Adventure
A fantastic overland journey from Nicaragua, through Costa Rica, to Panama. This 24 day trip shows you the wonders of Nicaragua: colonial Granada, imposing volcanoes and pristine pacific beaches, before crossing over to Costa Rica to see the active volcano of Arenal, hot springs, cloud forests and national parks. The trip ends with Panama, taking in the caribbean archipelago of Bocas del Toro, the verdant mountains of coffee and strawberry plantations around Boquete and Panama City's historic old town and of course the Panama Canal.

| Day 1: | Arrive in MANAGUA in NICARAGUA and transfer to historical GRANADA, a beautiful colonial city on the shores of Lake Nicaragua. Stay at either the Hotel Gran Francia or the Hotel Colonial. |
| Day 2: | GRANADA: Tour of Granada and Las Isletas Archipelago, a series of lush tropical islands on Lake Nicaragua. |
| Day 3: | GRANADA - LOS PUEBLOS - MASAYA: Tour of Los Pueblos including Catarina, visit to Masaya's folklorica Market, famous for hammocks and hand-made wood and leather goods, and Volcán Masaya in the Masaya National Park. |
| Day 4: | GRANADA - ISLA DE OMETEPE: Transfer to San Jorge for the ferry to the island of Ometepe. Transfer on the island to the Hotel Villa Paraiso, a simple lodge located above the Santo Domingo beach on the isthmus between the two volcanoes. A wonderful setting, the lodge is peaceful with lake views, bird watching and good food. |
| Day 5: | OMETEPE: Climbing in the Maderas Volcano cloud forest or cultural tour of the island. Overnight Hotel Villa Paraiso. |
| Day 6: | OMETEPE - MORGAN'S ROCK: Transfer to Morgan's Rock, located on the southern Pacific Coast, an eco-lodge at the forefront of sustainable tourism in Nicaragua, preserving primary forest and protecting and re-introducing endangered species. The lodge is both comfortable and rustic, comprising of 15 large cabins overlooking a fine private beach and is currently Nicaragua's finest coastal hotel. |
| Days 7-8: | MORGAN'S ROCK: Free day to enjoy the surroundings. |
| Day 9: | MORGAN'S ROCK - PEÑAS BLANCAS: Private transfer to the frontier with Costa Rica. Cross the border to Peñas Blancas in COSTA RICA where you will be transfered to the area of Arenal Volcano. Overnight at hotel Montaña de Fuego. |
| Day 10: | ARENAL VOLCANO: Day at leisure to explore the area. Overnight at Montaña de Fuego. |
| Day 11: | MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST: Transfer from Arenal to Monteverde Cloud forest, overnight at Fonda Vela Lodge. |
| Day 12: | MONTEVERDE: Day at leisure to enjoy the nature trails. Overnight at Fonda Vela Lodge. |
| Day 13: | MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK: Transfer from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio National Park, one of Costa Rica's loveliest with its superb juxtaposition of pristine white sand beaches and tropical forest. Overnight at the Hotel Sí Como No. |
| Day 14: | MANUEL ANTONIO: Day at leisure in Manuel Antonio, overnight at Sí Como No hotel. |
| Day 15: | MANUEL ANTONIO: Day at leisure in Manuel Antonio, overnight at Sí Como No hotel. |
| Day 16: | BANANITO: Transfer from Manuel Antonio to Bananito in Limón; overnight at Selva Bananito. |
| Day 17: | Transfer from Bananito to Sixaola on the Costa Rican border. Transfer to the off shore islands of Bocas del Toro in PANAMA for idyllic beaches and wildlife spotting. Overnight in Bocas Inn Hotel. |
| Day 18: | BOCAS DEL TORO: Tour of Isla Bastimentos National Park and Salt Creek, home to nesting turtles, birds and other wildlife. Overnight Bocas Inn Hotel. |
| Day 19: | Flight transfer to the mountain resort of BOQUETE: Overnight at the Panamonte Hotel. |
| Day 20: | BOQUETE CLOUD FOREST: Bird Watching or forest hiking in the Boquete Cloud Forest. Overnight at the Panamonte Hotel. |
| Day 21: | Fly to Panama City. Overnight at Las Huacas Hotel. |
| Day 22: | Tour of the City and Panama Canal. Overnight at the Las Huacas Hotel. |
| Day 23: | Day at leisure in Panama City. Overnight at the Las Huacas Hotel. |
| Day 24: | Transfer to airport for any onward flights. |
