South American Experience is now part of the Western & Oriental group. As part of the on-going integration of South American Experience as part of Western and Oriental plc, from 01 April 2008 all ATOL bookings are covered under ATOL 6094, licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority.

All our tailor-made itineraries which involve flights and ground arrangements are ATOL Protected. This means that in the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad or will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for advance bookings.

South American Experience also issues an insurance policy with tickets in case airlines go into liquidation. This is called Failure of Scheduled Airlines Insurance.

ATOL Protection extends primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
