Jibacoa
Located just an hours' drive from Havana, Jibacoa is a superb beach destination in a relaxed setting, a quick get away from the capital. It is mostly used by Cubans so has an authentic feel, though can fill up at weekends and be peaceful mid-week. Here the Caribbean water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkelling and diving.
