This exciting 24 day cruise tour traces a path across the Caribbean to Cuba and then onto Mexico, for an exclusive combination
of destinations. The 15 night cruise element starts with the wild abundance of Trinidad and Tobago, then on to explore
the idyllic islands of the Venezuelan archipelago and its lush mainland of rainforests. The quaint harbour towns of the
Netherlands Antilles meet UNESCO World Heritage sites, followed by the colourful history and mesmerising rhythms of Cuba. Here visit Ernest Hemingway's haunts
and enjoy a reception at the Residence of the British Ambassador.
Post cruise, your journey continues onto Mexico, to enjoy some relaxation at a luxury hotel on the fantastic Yucatan
coast combined with tours to the major Mayan sites of Chichen Itza and Uxmal.
Your trip culminates in one of the world's great cities, Mexico City.

| Sat 12 Jan: | Start of Cruise, in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Fly from the UK to Port of Spain on British Airways, arriving 16.45. Hebridean Spirit awaits the embarkation of her guests in the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. |
| Sun 13 Jan: | Port of Spain,Trinidad. Privately Escorted Tour - please ask for details. We depart in the morning for the Asa Wright Nature Centre, one of the best spots for bird-watching in the tropics. Guests can follow trails amongst vivid flora and fauna. Lunch will be taken at the Nature Centre, with time to relax in the afternoon, perhaps taking in the rainforest views from the verandah of the restored estate house. |
| Mon 14 Jan: | Charlotteville,Tobago. This morning we go ashore to Charlotteville, a small fishing village on the north-eastern tip of Tobago. Guests can absorb the laid-back atmosphere, go for a swim and enjoy a classic Caribbean barbecue lunch. |
| Tues 15 Jan: | At sea en route to Los Roques, Venezuela. A day on board with a chance to enjoy the ship's leisure facilities and a lecture given by one of our Guest Speakers. |
| Wed 16 Jan: | Los Roques Archipelago,Venezuela. The archipelago's main island of Grande Roques is our first stop. Stroll the village and its shoreline, explore the bustling fish market and take in the panorama of neighbouring islands from the old lighthouse. Local boats take us to Nordeskys Island for a barbecue lunch and a lazy afternoon of swimming and snorkelling. |
| Thurs 17 Jan: | Caracas,Venezuela. Privately Escorted Tour - please ask for details. A full day ashore, leaving Caracas in the morning for the town of Colonia Tovar. Founded in 1843 by pioneers from the Black Forest, this mountain town is a rich and fascinating repository of German traditions. Overnight passage to Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. |
| Fri 18 Jan: | Kralendijk, Bonaire, Netherlands Antilles. We drive north to Goto Lake, a beautiful area and a landlocked saltwater lake where flamingos often feed. Seru Largo offers a spectacular panorama of the island's south. Perhaps take lunch on shore before a tour of the quaint Dutch town of Kralendijk, with free time for shopping. |
| Sat 19 Jan: | Willemstad, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Guests take a morning tour of Willemstad, Curacao's capital. This culturally rich city's 17th-century centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Guests have the opportunity for lunch on shore before an afternoon at leisure. |
| Sun 20 Jan: | At sea en route to Santiago de Cuba. A day on board, when guests can relax in the spa or pursue some leisurely research in the Travel Library. |
| Mon 21 Jan: | At sea en route to Santiago de Cuba. On our second day en route to Cuba, guests can listen to a talk by one of our Guest Speakers. |
| Tues 22 Jan: | Santiago de Cuba. Privately Escorted Tour - please ask for details. We arrive in Santiago de Cuba and visit the cliff-top castle of El Morro, followed by a walking tour of the town. After lunch on board, we depart for the famous Casa Dolores concert hall for a private music recital. |
| Wed 23 Jan: | At sea en route to Casilda, Cuba. An opportunity to relax on board and take in the views as we continue our voyage around Cuba. |
| Thurs 24 Jan: | Casilda, Cuba. We are one of the few ships to be able to sail into Casilda, to visit the UNESCO World Heritage city of Cuba. Enjoy a guided tour of the town, with free time to amble the main square and shop for handicrafts. Perhaps take lunch ashore before driving to the Sugar Mills and a former plantation house. |
| Fri 25 Jan: | At sea en route to Havana, Cuba. A day spent on board with a talk from one of our Guest Speakers. |
| Sat 26 Jan: | Havana, Cuba. Privately Escorted Tour - please ask for details. Explore Old Havana. Later, a private reception at the Residence of His Excellency the British Ambassador, John Dew HMA. |
| Sun 27 Jan: | Disembarkation / Mexico. Cruise ends in Havana, Cuba. Transfer to airport for flight to Cancun in Mexico. Transfer to the beach front hotel Paraiso de la Bonita on the Riviera Maya. |
| Mon 28 Jan: | Riviera Maya, Mexico. Free time on the beach at Paraiso de la Bonita. |
| Tues 29 Jan: | Riviera Maya, Mexico. Free time on the beach at Paraiso de la Bonita. |
| Wed 30 Jan: | Chichen Itza, Mexico. Full day tour to the Mayan site of Chichen Itza, including lunch. PM transfer to the Hacienda Chichen for overnight near the ruins. |
| Thurs 31 Jan: | Uxmal, Mexico. Tour to the Mayan site of Uxmal, then on to Merida. Overnight at the hotel The Villa at Merida. |
| Fri 01 Feb: | Merida, Mexico. Half day city tour of Merida, capital of the Yucatan region. |
| Sat 02 Feb: | Mexico City. Transfer to Merida airport for flight to Mexico City, arrive 12.40. Transfer to Hotel Casa Vieja, junior suite. Afternoon tour of the highlights of Mexico City. |
| Sun 03 Feb: | Mexico City. Full day tour to the Aztec site of Teotihuacan, including lunch. |
| Mon 04 Feb: | Transfer to Mexico City airport for British Airways flight departing 20.40. |
