The most famous carnival in the world takes place every February in Rio de Janeiro. The city comes alive in an astounding spectacle of lavish and outrageous outfits, colourful carnival parades and samba dancing in the street throughout the night. This Celebrity cruise on Celebrity Journey starts in Buenos Aires and includes Montevideo, Punta del Este and of course the Rio Carnival before returning to the Argentine capital. In 2008 Carnival will be from the 2nd to the 5th February.
