14 nights - Experience the Panama Canal on board The Summit
It is a hundred years since work started on the construction of the Panama Canal connecting the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The canal cost a cool $336 million to build and opened on 15 August 1914. It remains to this day one of the greatest feats of engineering in the world.
Our remarkable 14 night journey of adventure and discovery sails from Fort Lauderdale and calls in at Aruba in the Dutch Antilles before transiting the Panama Canal isthmus. There are further stops at Puntarenas in Costa Rica, Huatulco, Acapulco and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico before continuing up the Californian coast to Los Angeles. This is a Celebrity Cruise, on the Summit.
