Designed to celebrate the centenary of Brazil's independence in 1922, the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer wasn't actually finished until 1931 with lighting by Marconi.

The views from Corcovado Mountain are stunning and it really helps you get your bearings. We will book you onto a tour which includes Corcovado either joining a group or with a private guide if you prefer. There are departures daily.
