Lakes Crossing - Argentina to Chile
The spectacular crossing through the Lake District, weaving between the Andes, from San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina to Puerto Montt in Chile is an unforgettable experience.
It involves a series of boat and bus trips, hopping across glacial lakes, passing snow-capped volcanoes and stunning scenery.
During the Winter, (July to September) the trip takes two days and involves an over-night stay in a hotel. It can also be done in reverse order, (see Chile section).
