This amazing 5 day trip begins at the magnificent Iguazu Falls, with visits to both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides included and accommodation at the Sheraton International Hotel, within the Iguazu National Park. The Iguazu rainforest is biologically the richest area in the country and offers palmettos and amazing wildlife as well as the falls.
After Iguazu, travel on to the area of the Jesuit Missions, the result of the evangelical determination of the Jesuit priests to convert the Guarani aborigines to Christianity. The best preserved mission are the ruins of San Ignacio Mini, dating from 1696, and its carvings and architecture reveal the advanced culture of the Guarani.
From here travel onto the Ibera Marshes and spend two nights at the Posada Aguape, an exclusive and comfortable inn with all meals included. The marshlands are the second largest in South America. Double the size of the Everglades in Florida, these until recently inaccessible marshes have protected a wide range of wildlife and offer an unforgettable experience for nature lovers. The area is home to anacondas, capybaras, caymen, marsh deer, howler monkeys and giant storks, amongst others.
