Estancia El Colibri

Combining the atmosphere and traditions of a rural estancia with the style and comfort of a luxury hotel, the Estancia El Colibri is a new, colonial style hacienda set in beautiful countryside. It is located in Cordoba, right in the centre of Argentina, about 1 hour 20 minutes flight away from Buenos Aires. (6 daily flights into Cordoba airport).

From 170 unspoiled hectares of farm land, El Colibri is an authentic example of the Argentinean campo where the wild forest has been transformed into a natural park and private garden. In order to make the posada look and feel authentic, the French owners travelled around the country, searching for the best craftsmen, the finest materials and Argentine antique furniture.

There are just 9 exquisitely appointed rooms and the hotel operates on a full board basis. There is an endless array of activities on offer, including mountain biking, hiking and walking, horse riding, hunting, trout fishing, an adventure circuit on the estate, a visit to nearby Jesuit Missions and wildlife and bird spotting. The owners are keen polo players and any level of experience, from beginners to professionals, can have a go at the sport of the Argentines. There is also an outdoor pool, sauna and small spa.
